To be in accordance with the legislative "Personal Information Protection Act," "Information Security Management Directions for the Executive Yuan and its Subordinate Agencies," "The Norms of Information and Communication Security Management in Educational Systems" and other national laws announced by the government, CPU had made a proposal of "Information Security Management System (ISMS) document" project to the school's Information Security Committee and obtained its approval on Jun. 16th , 2011. After the second-stage ISMS external review on September 13th and 28th, CPU has been successfully fulfilled all ISO 27001:2005 requirements.
Au, Shien-yi, the general manager of the Taiwan branch of AFAQ/Best CERT, Ltd.,(French national organization for standardization) - AFNOR Group (ISO standardization association) came to CPU to honor ISO 27001:2005 certification to the school representative - the school's vice-president Jhuan, De-son (the chief of the school information security committee). CPU will promote and implement a secure and reliable environment academic information security environment in the future.
