2011 University Evaluation held by the Ministry of Education

2011 University Evaluation was held by Higher Education Evaluation and Accreditation Council of Taiwan as authorized by the Ministry of Education. On December 5th and 6th, 2011, 12 commissioners of the above-mentioned organization were hired for School Evaluation and 3 for P.E. Evaluation. There are 3 results after the evaluation: Pass, With the ability to pass, and Fail.
The Evaluation involved 5 categories - self-identify of the school, the governance and management of school affairs, teaching and learning resources, performances and social responsibility, continual improvements of service quality and quality assurance. The content in each category contained the management of school administration, teaching, research, extended education training, general education and learning effects of the students.
CPU is the only professional university for training police lieutenants in Taiwan. During the two-day visit, the commissioners learned how the school affairs worked through principle's briefing, meeting with directors of different departments and other personnel such as teachers and students. Also, the commissioners had a deep impression on the effects of CPU's morality and physical education.
